At our alm, at more than 1000 meters above sea level, there’s is no need to use the polite word ‘Sie’ (formal ‘you’, used for addressing a person with whom one has a formal relationship.) That makes life beautiful and more personal. In fact, anyone who uses ‘Sie’, has to buy a round of drinks. As we say: Zamm…zamm…zamm..Rübe…Rübe…Rübe

Enjoy your meal, you deserve it.

Appreciating food is very important to us. Our dishes are homemade and we use regional, sustainable and high-quality ingredients. Our beef comes from farmers in our region, our pork is exclusively from sustainable farming in Austria, as is our chicken. We use Austrian free-range eggs. Milk, butter and cream cheese come directly from a farm in Ellmau. We grow a lot of our herbs ourselves

Breakfast at the mountain (Only in summer)

Child friendly: Any child who can fit upright through our front door (former stable door) gets half-price breakfast. Children up to 6 years old can eat breakfast at our charge.

A child’s paradise in nature

After all, a little relaxation is good. Take a deck chair and watch your little ones. We are happy when there is a lot going on at our playground. We and many of our employees have children of our own. That’s why it is important to us to create a fun environment in our children’s world with a lot of self-carved figures in the middle of our beautiful nature. There is not much equipment - a slide and a carousel. But there is a stream to build a dam, meadows and a lot of stunning nature to run around in.

Tip for parents: bring an extra set of clothes.
